MID HIGH

 The Mid High group meets from 6:30 – 7:30 on Sunday nights during the school year.  This large group has great fellowship, a fun time, works on exciting activities and allows the “tweens” to have a place to meet and talk over their joys and every day struggles that they may encounter at this age.  Not only do we help those in our community through mission projects, but we help ourselves become better Christians through our sense of commitment, fellowship and our values.  We take trips, go on a RETREAT in the spring, golf, do puppet plays, have movie nights, pizza parties…the list goes on.  A highlight of our time together was a trip to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh where we spent the day and our trip culminated with a visit to the IMAX where we saw “The Polar Express”.  This year's events included a ski/tubing trip in February and ice skating in March. Events being planned include a trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo and a trip to D.C.

 YOUTH

 The Senior High has its own group.  FUMY meets from 6:30 – 7:30 on Sunday nights during the school year.  Are you searching for significance?  Seeking a purpose that is worth your time and energy?  Longing to be a part of something bigger than your self?  If so, this is the place to be!   At First United Methodist Church, we are very proud of this special group.  Not only do they have a great time meeting together, but this terrific group of young adults is always willing to step up to the plate, to meet challenges put before them, and by doing so, become better Christians.  This year's events included a ski/tubing trip in February and ice skating in March.
